We recently completed an emergency fly-tipping clearance project that required a temporary road closure to ensure the safe and efficient removal of illegally dumped waste. Fly-tipping on public highways presents serious hazards, including obstructions, environmental contamination, and risks to motorists and pedestrians.
Our team was deployed to clear the waste, dispose of it legally, and restore the road to a safe, usable condition, working in compliance with UK highway and environmental regulations.
Site Assessment & Road Safety Measures
Conducted a full site inspection to assess the volume and type of fly-tipped waste.
Implemented temporary road closure and traffic management measures to ensure public safety.
Identified hazardous materials requiring specialist handling and disposal.
Safe & Efficient Waste Clearance
Removed household waste, bulky items, construction debris, and hazardous materials.
Ensured all waste was handled in line with Health & Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines.
